Have attached the Open to Offas route A great day out but the 30 miler was a day out indeed at over 7 hours, although heat may have played a factor in that (My thinking is a good 6.5 hour run) Some brilliant running, all interesting and varied, but at 30 miles and 7000+ft it is a good effort, takes in parts of about 5 races the local fell runners do most years (llangynhafal, hotfoot, druid, Clwydians, Lletty farm) Know the route well now so if anyone wants to attempt it at some point I'm more than willing to have a go with them Good route to get a feel for Offas Dyke (but at 177 miles that's a plan for another day or two....) Thanks for sharing the route. I couldn't find the route from the LDWA site, so it's great to have it via this one. I hate not knowing where I am going and I much prefer using maps to verbal descriptions (that the LDWA event organisers are so keen on). When will they start providing digital maps? I will be doing Open to Offas tomorrow.
